The spring a beautiful collaboration was formed between two amazing organizations.  The Building Relationship Power Institute and Women Healing and Empowering Women joined forces to launch Project Butterfly  – Houston Chapter.

Project Butterfly  is an African-centered, rites of passage program designed to prepare girls of African descent for their transition from adolescence to adulthood. The program provides girls with experiences that increase their self-esteem; teach them effective decision-making skills; instill in them positive cultural values; connect them with positive, women role models, help them discover the power within and prepare them to be responsible adults and leaders in their communities.
